5.0 out of 5 stars A little of everything!, January 1, 2011

All the basic Halloween stuff (mostly original artist) and some hard to find stuff.
Also one karaoke disc with very hard to find tracks.
Soundtrack stuff is excellent, sounds like original
movie themes.

I ordered this CD for our annual Halloween Party. Our party is kid friendly, but the kids aren't too little. This CD collection was awesome. Put it into the disc changer and didn't have to change it all night. Great for the price!

2.0 out of 5 stars More Horror than Hits, October 18, 2011

100 Halloween Hits starts off strongly enough but runs out of gas long before hitting the total of "100 Hits". First thing to understand is that only 80 of these are music, the remaining 20 "hits" are videos (and more "in the style of.." than the original hits). While the first & second CDs have a good share of classic and newer Halloween Hits (with the third CD being classic soundtrack instruments), the fourth CD is a real bust. The mere mention of Devil or Ghost anywhere in the lyrics seems to be a reason to include these songs, many of which are from the early days of recordings(read that as awful sound reproduction). Almost all of these are more trick than treat. So in the end, 50 out of "100" are worth having, might have been a better choice before the price increase.
