There's not a lot to say other than the lens cap is very inexpensive and it works. It grips the filter threads on the lens well. The pinch grip has decent quality springs, and if you want, there's a cap keeper. I removed the string from the keeper, as I find the keeper wraps around the lens and interferes with manual focus. The lens cap is made of thinner plastic than an OEM version, but if you tend to lose caps like I do, get a couple. It won't impress anybody, but it works.

You definitely need this if you're a Canon user since the side-pinch Canon caps are a hassle when you have a hood on. The string is too thin in my opinion. It does look sturdy but if you change lenses even some of the time, it becomes a bit difficult to try and remove the string from your camera... no matter how simple the knot is.

i agree with the other 2 reviews here - decent product, does its function, and is super cheap.

I just wanted to comment that the string included DOES work (at least it did on mine). But just note that the way it attaches to the lens cap is NOT as shown in the item picture (i.e. there is no little hook on the bottom of the cap for the string). Rather, there are two little holes on the side of the cap that you loop the string through to secure it. Hope this helps someone.

I am using the cap on my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 for my Pentax K-x. The reason i gave the product 4 stars is because it doesnt fit the lens perfectly, but definitely fine enough to protect it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone else.
